Raglan Film Festival feature films and shorts

Raglan Film Festival opens Saturday, September 15 with a fashion feature film and continues throughout the week with a New Zealand short and international feature films.

Opening night and Thursday 20, 7pm, feature film McQUEEN is a rags-to-riches story about legendary fashion designer Lee Alexander McQueen.

Screening on Sunday 16 at 4.30pm and Wednesday 19 at 7pm, New Zealand film Maui’s Hook follows Tama a young man fuelled by drugs, alcohol and violence on the anniversary of his father’s suicide.

New Zealand shorts – Puoro screens before Maui’s Hook, and Falling Up and Turtle-Bank Hustler before McQUEEN.

Licensed bar & homemade snacks on sale at all screenings.

Adults $15, Concession $12, RCAC Members $12, Children $8.
The reduced concession rate is for $12 concession (student, seniors or CS cards).

Hostage to his own pain, he finds himself travelling with the families – a road trip that forces him to witness first-hand the aftermath of suicide. And to face his own mortality.
