Sounds of India comprises of Lester Silver (sitar), Basant Madhur and Akhil Madhur (tabla) and together they present a unique musical experience for audiences in New Zealand opening a window to this intriguing atmospheric music. They will be supporting Professor of Music and award-winning Hindustani style violin player Shukdev Madhur.
Come and enjoy the sounds of Indian classical music and enjoy an Indian-inspired meal of dhal, rice and soup with bread for sale in the Arts Centre foyer.
