Brilliant, funny and indefatigable, Helen Kelly was a giant of social justice movements in New Zealand. When at the height of her career, she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, she stood down as president of the Council of Trade Unions, and from the International Labour Organisation, and proceeded to embark on a mission to find justice for the wives and mothers of those who perished in the Pike River cola mine disaster, and on the job in forestry, to listen to the vulnerable and stand up to those in power, with staggering generosity epitomising the best of the NZ character.
Director: Tony Sutorius (‘Campaign’)
Cast: Helen Kelly, Maryanne Finlay, Anna Osbourne, Sonya Rockhouse, Selina Eruera, Donna McMurtrie
