Movies are at Raglan Old School Arts Centre, 5 Stewart St, Raglan 3225 in Eva’s Room. The room is named after Tuaiwa Rickard who was one of the people who set up the Raglan Old School Arts Centre in the 1980s. The room was originally a school classroom addition which was built in 1906

There is a cafe in the foyer with juice, Bundaberg drinks, plus yummy food on sale. Wine and beer is available for sessions starting between 3.30pm and 9.00pm. Our theatre is cosy and warm in winter. In summer the air con keeps it cool.

Pay at the door by cash or EFTPOS. Theatre doors opens 30 minutes before screening time. Arrive early if you want your favourite seat.

RESERVES

1. To reserve seats, pick movie and session you want, then in the boxes just under the heading Buy Tickets, set the numbers of seats you want, then click the Add to cart button ,
2. Wait a few seconds until you are automatically taken to a screen showing your shopping cart. When this screen pops up review your reservation then click Review Cart & Make Payment.   When the next screen comes up click Complete Reservation. As you are only making a reservation there is nothing to pay. 
3. You will be sent an email confirming your reservation. Make sure you arrive 15 minutes before the movie start time to pay for your seats.

BOOKING and BUYING 

1. To book and buy seats with your debit or credit card, pick movie and session you want, then in the boxes just under the heading Buy Tickets, set the numbers of seats you want, then click the Add to cart button. There is a 90 cent card processing fee for each purchase.
2. Wait a few seconds until you are automatically taken to a screen showing your shopping cart. At the bottom of the screen next to the words Payment Gateway look for TO BOOK & PAY NOW BY CARD. Select the button with those words on it then click Review Cart & Make Payment. (We are unable to give refunds for online card purchases, so make sure you want the ticket before paying for it.) Wait a few seconds for the next screen to come up then follow the instructions.
3. You will be sent an email confirming your purchase.

(Reserves close at about 1pm on the day of screening. Door sales are usually available)

If you have reserved your seats on a weekday, up to 24 hours before the session time, you can pay online by internet banking, directly into our bank account, including MOVIES and ‘Name Of Movie’ as the reference:

The Old School office is open Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm for pre-purchase of tickets or to pay for tickets you have reserved online.

Entry Adults $16, Concession $14, Children 14 yrs and under $9, RCAC Members $12.

Concession entry at $14 is for Seniors, Beneficiaries and Students with ID. $12 entry is for Raglan Community Arts Council financial members.

It is best to make reserves with the web reservation system. (If you wish you can email info@raglanartscentre.co.nz ).

All reserved tickets must be paid for 30 – 15 minutes before the start of the movie – they will NOT be held after this time.

If not already collected reserved tickets 

they may be resold

from 15 minutes before the start of the movie if the screening is full.

G – Suitable for General Audience.

PG – Parental Guidance recommended.

RP[age] – Restricted to persons [age] and over unless  accompanied by a parent/guardian. (eg RP16)

M – Suitable for Mature Audiences.

R[age] – Restricted to persons [age] and over. (eg R13)
