The highest grossing film of 2023 in Italy, There’s Still Tomorrow is a vibrant, moving drama starring Paola Cortellesi in her directorial debut.
"An unashamed, old-fashioned melodrama develops into a more considered tale of small victories on the road to female empowerment." - Screen International
Delia (Cortellesi) lives in a working-class community in Rome in the late 1940s - a city divided between the positive thrust of liberation and the miseries of the war that has just ended - with her domineering husband, Ivano (Valerio Mastandrea), their three children, and father-in-law.
She rises above the daily challenges of family life; has a best friend with whom to share moments of levity, and dreams for her daughter Marcella to one day have a better life. Delia accepts her fate - the good with the bad - until one day a mysterious letter arrives. Shot in resplendent black and white, in the style of post-World War II Italian neorealist filmmakers, There’s Still Tomorrow is a critically acclaimed, bittersweet and empowering tale tinged with a comedic irony.

Two distant cousins who’ve never met - one in NYC, the other in the smallest town there is in Ireland - come together to finally put an end to a generations-long family feud. It doesn’t go well. The Problem With People, set in beautifully lush Irish countryside, is a heartwarming comedy about family, world peace … and sheep.
"This movie is lighthearted and fun, with just enough heartwarming moments weaved through to keep you smiling. Reiser and Meaney are great on screen together." - 3.5/5 Tessa Smith, Mama's Geeky
CIARAN GORMAN (Colm Meaney) lives in small-town rural Ireland with his elderly and ailing father FERGUS. Fergus decides that if he can’t fix the world’s problems, maybe he can at least fix his own family. So as his “dying wish,” he asks Ciarán to reach out to the American side of the family and broker a long overdue peace.
Hardly knowing where to start, Ciarán manages to locate one descendant on “the American side” - Cousin BARRY (Paul Reiser), a big time real estate developer in New York.
Intrigued by this call from a relative he never knew he had - and encouraged by his business partner/daughter NATALYA (Jane Levy) - Barry surprisingly accepts Ciáran’s invitation and flies to Ireland. Things do not go well.
