Showcasing local performers, this month’s Live and Local will include some great Kiwi covers in people’s sets as well as loads of fabulous original songs for NZ Music Month.

LIVE & LOCAL celebrates NZ Music Month – as well as lots of orginal music each act will include a Kiwi cover.

Over The Hill
A couple of warbling musicians who love harmonies – Pete Aim and Brian Wilson. Pete has been humming and strumming for a few years and just loves producing good sounds.

Wilkie Mac
Duo WilkieMac (Lynne Wilkins and Michael Mackinnon) mix it up with some old and new favourite Kiwi songs as well as an original or two.

Holly Dove
Holly Dove (from folk duos Ys and Dolly and The Hooves) on guitar, vocals and Celtic whistle) shares songs of magic and mystery collected from travels around England and Scotland, weaving them together with her own music.

The Ragtimers
Fresh from 2nd place at the Ukulele Blast in late 2022 (and trophy for Best Performance), the Ragtimers are heading to a Ukulele Festival in Mangawhai later this month, and this Live and Local performance is a perfect dress rehearsal.
